Have an office with old monitors? Need more ports? – This worked perfectly using the VGA port to extend the desktop to a second display… and it did so perfectly. All the other ports have worked out well as well. No issues with connectivity or device discovery. We even tested the HDMI port using a couple of adapters… VGA to DVI to HDMI… And it worked. So, if you have a need for the VGA port this works out perfectly, and if you need the additional USB ports and/or an HDMI monitor, it works also.

Perfect for use with IOS – I have been using Apple products for many years, and really the only complaint that I have is the lack of ports, and need for adapters with just about anything that isn’t Apple related. If I want to use my laptop with my projector I need an adapter. If I want to hook up a second monitor to my all in one iMac, I need an adapter.

This is perfect for my MacBook! – I’ve had a really bulky ugly doc from work, which is failing and this makes it so much better. It’s much more streamlined and compacts in the other but it’s got all of the bells and whistles you would expect from a modern dock. I really like that it matches the finish of my computer, and it integrates with the software very well. Had no issues with lag on the HDMI side of things and this is just a really big upgrade for me. Would highly recommend not only for Mac users, but PC should work fine too.

Great Upgrade Peripheral – This is ideal for any laptop that has a dearth of ports, especially Macs. This docking station doubles as both a stand (to help dissipate heat) and a hub to allow tons of connections. There’s lots of different ports to connect to, including ethernet and a dual HDMI monitor system. A nice rubber strip on top and bottom keeps the laptop from moving around and the hub from shifting on the table. The bottom of the hub has a nice curve, which allows some routing of cables.
