    2 reviews for Logitech Wireless Mouse M525 – Navy/Grey

Best mouse I have ever used – I have used the M525 mouse for more than 10 years. Use with a Mac Mini and a Mac Pro Book. Just ordered another to use with a Windows Surface and a Dell Windows desktop.

Great replacement for older M305 – I wore out my M305 that I had for well over 10 years and LOVED because it was a multi-function mouse (click scroll wheel left or right or even press for 3 extra functions) as well as that it was a smaller mouse. The M525 matches both characteristics, is available for a great price, and actually has a few improvements. It now comes with a unifying receiver that allows multiple mice or other compatible accessories to connect through it, if desired. It now has micro-precision scrolling that really feels quite different and improved. It also feels overall like a more robust, solid build. I couldn’t be happier. Sorry though, I do not play games so I cannot rate it for that.

    3. S. B (verified owner)

Nice Mouse (also works with Linux; see end of review) – I really like this mouse and the Unifying Receiver (this is my second one). I used to use the M505 and liked it but it now feels clunky compared to this one, especially the scroll wheel (I just ordered two more M525s to replace the two M505s I have on my desktop). The scroll wheel on the M525 is quieter and turns much more freely, allowing faster vertical scrolling without losing any precision. A quick flick on the wheel will send the page sailing up or down. Clicking the scroll wheel button was a bit tricky to learn how to do because the scroll wheel spins so freely but I was able to get the hang of it pretty quickly (allowing the tip of my finger to rest on just in front of the wheel and pressing down on the wheel pretty much always keeps the wheel from turning).

Decent basic mouse –  Hey, you get what you pay for. This is a good enough wireless mouse for the money. It’s about medium size, maybe a little too small for people with big hands. I don’t have big hands and it still feels a little small. It’s not that ergonomic, but it’s more comfortable than this tiny mouse I was using before. My hands are not cramping up, but there’s really nothing special about this mouse to make it more comfortable. It tracks and scrolls just fine. I don’t need to track on glass, or in outer space, or any special DPI. I don’t need extra functionality buttons all over the thing. The scroll wheel is kind of loud and annoying. But I’m not scrolling all day. And when I do scroll, I don’t mind if someone in the other room can hear it, since it makes me sound busy. I just wish it was a little bigger and a little more ergonomic, meaning some more accommodation for the comfort of the hand. I should have spent another 10 or $15 on one of the next models up which has ergonomic design and bigger size. But I didn’t want all the silly extra features that go with it. One good feature about the next model up is the ability to use on multiple devices. This model does not have that feature.

Bought for my husband – I upgraded my husband to a lap top and also this wireless mouse. He was unsure of both (he’s in late 60s), but he really likes this mouse. Good deal.

    6. P. S (verified owner)

Love it x2 – I’ve had one of these mice for more than a year — it fits a small hand beautifully and makes computer use so much easier. Also travels well given its slim profile. Has held up with daily use – no different from the new one I just bought.
